John Currier
CEO

John spent twelve years in R&D and project planning at Atlantic Richfield before moving to a research position at Thayer School of Engineering.  He proposed to Thayer School the development project centered on the mobile tackling target concept, and has been the faculty advisor through its evolution to MVP.  John graduated with honors with a B.A.  in Engineering Sciences from Dartmouth, and received his B.E. and M.S. in Engineering from Thayer School.  At MVP, John focuses on Business Strategy & Development. 

Rod Fletcher
Chief Financial Officer

Rod spent nine years on Wall Street doing private equity & debt financing as well as M&A, followed by five years as the Chief Financial Officer of City Sports, a venture-backed chain of sporting goods stores.  He currently is CFO for Jennus Innovation, and he runs the business operations of two independent schools in addition.  On top of his duties as CFO, Rod also serves on the board of MVP and PLT4M.  Rod received a B.A. from Stanford and an M.B.A. from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College.  At MVP, Rod focuses on Finance and Operations.

Joe McLaughlin
VP Business Development

Over the past 30 years, Joe has built and rebuilt go to market efforts for Lotus, IBM, OpenText, Novell and Sonus Networks where he led a variety of sales and marketing teams ranging in size from as small as a startup to as large as $1 billion.  Joe is a graduate of Dartmouth College and is married with three children.  Joe joins MVP as the new Vice President of Business Development.  At MVP, Joe focuses on New Market Opportunities, Sales & Marketing, and Business Strategy.  

Quinn Connell
VP Engineering

Quinn is a graduate of Dartmouth College where he captained the rugby team to an undefeated season and an Ivy League Championship.  After graduating from Dartmouth with a B.E. from Thayer School of Engineering, Quinn designed whitewater parks for Colorado-based engineering firm Mclaughlin Whitewater Design Group.  Quinn went on to be Head Coach at World Class Academy, where he taught Calculus, Physics, and Media Productions where he was an integral part of developing curriculum, logistics, and mentoring students.  At MVP, Quinn focuses on Prototype & Product Development and Business Strategy.

Ryan McManus
Director of Marketing

Ryan was a captain of the Dartmouth football team, leading them to an Ivy League Championship in 2015.  Ryan was a two-time All-Ivy pick at both wide receiver and punt returner.  He was also selected as Academic All-District, Academic All-Ivy Honors, and as a semifinalist for the William V. Campbell Trophy.  As an undergraduate, Ryan co-founded Jennus Innovation and was successfully awarded an athletic shoe patent.  At MVP, Ryan focuses on Sales, Marketing, and Business Strategy.

Buddy Teevens
Chairman

Coach Teevens has served as head coach for Dartmouth, Tulane and Stanford since his time as quarterback for Dartmouth College. His wide network includes players, coaches and administrators across the NCAA & NFL. Buddy is a nationally recognized leader in cutting down on full-contact practices by focusing on technique, which in turn limits injuries suffered in practice and in games.  His concept of a mobile tackling target is an integral part of that evolution.  Buddy earned an A.B. degree in history from Dartmouth College in 1979.

Chris Jenny
Board Member

Chris is a Senior Advisor at Parthenon-EY, a leading strategic advisory firm.  Prior to Parthenon-EY, Chris was a Partner at Bain & Company, and also possesses 10 years of operating experience.  Chris graduated summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa with a B.A. in Mathematics from Dartmouth College, and holds an M.B.A., with high distinction, from Harvard Business School. At MVP, Chris focuses on business strategy and fundraising.

Dave Shula
Board Member

Dave was a standout receiver at Dartmouth and continued his football career in the NFL as both player and coach.  He coached in the NFL for 15 years, and stands as one of the youngest people to be named as a NFL head coach (Cincinnati Bengals, 4 months younger than his Dad’s record).  Dave is a Partner and National Brand Ambassador for Shula’s Steak Houses, LLLP and remains very active working with football programs, boards, coaches and players at all levels of the game.
